Library cycle: Dementia

The prevalence of dementia is steadily rising each year, posing a challenge not only for individual patients but for society as a whole. This disease impacts not only the lives of those diagnosed but also places significant strain on their families and broader social networks. Recognizing the urgency of this issue, the Pomni Institute has initiated a campaign in April aimed at promoting awareness of preventive measures to mitigate and delay the onset of dementia.

Anita Demšar, the Programme Coordinator of the Pomni Institute, will deliver the lecture, shedding light on proactive strategies to address this pressing concern.
