Nakána
Nakána is a fresh ensemble of seasoned musicians who, under the direction of young composer and lyricist Ana Mezgec, bring to the stage a unique blend of contemporary Slovenian chanson, jazz, and ethnic music. In her compositions, she intertwines the beauty and fragility of life, opens up socially critical themes and tells stories - her own and others' - in a unique way. Their debut album was released in October 2024 Forest of notes, where the colorful group is complemented by a string and vocal quartet with guests.
