Curated tour of the exhibition Tired Palms

We invite you to join a guided tour of the major international contemporary art exhibition Tired Palms. The exhibition, featuring works by twelve artists, is spread across four venues at two locations: projects are presented at the UGM Cabinet and the Pool at the Maribor Art Gallery, as well as the Crypt and the Sodni stolp at Minoriti.

During this special lunchtime tour, starting at noon, we will visit all exhibition spaces, beginning on the ground floor of the Maribor Art Gallery at Strossmayerjeva ulica 6. The tour will be led by Jure Kirbiš, one of the two curators of Tired Palms and a curator at the Maribor Art Gallery. The tour will last approximately one hour.

Tired Palms is a transnational exhibition project, adapted to each new venue while always anchored locally. Versions of Tired Palms have previously been presented at Pavelhaus - Pavlova hiša in Laafeld (2019), Le Cube - independent art room in Rabat (2022), and Art Sonje Center in Seoul (2024). In 2026, the exhibition will travel to Museo MARTE in San Salvador. The project partners are the Minoriti Cultural Quarter and Maribor Puppet Theatre.
