Dhafer Youssef

The Tunisian singer and lutenist Dhafer Youssef skillfully combines East and West; traditional Arabic music, jazz, electronics and various world music influences. His music is emotional and introspective, appreciated worldwide for Dhafer's exceptional ability to create musical landscapes that, with a touch of mysticism, transcend the boundaries of cultures and genres, combining tradition and modernity into a unique musical expression, which we will witness at this unique spectacle.

His impressive body of work has earned him the BBC World Music Award in 2006 and the Edison Award in 2017, among others, as well as endless praise from publications such as The Guardian, The Times, The Evening Standard, Downbeat Magazine in Jazzwise.
