3:RMA
3:rma is the singer-songwriter project of guitar player Urška Supej and vocalist Maša But. The project is a bridge between music and poetry, wading through jazz, pop, and folk waters and touching upon topics like feminism, dead-end relationships, religion, etc. The artists draw inspiration from singer-songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Laura Marling, and Leonard Cohen, poets such as Edna Saint Vincent Millay, Emily Dickinson, and Rainer Maria Rilke, and literary pieces such as The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir.
3:rma is a contrast between sonorous melodies and difficult topics such as the real-life contrast between the ideal and reality. Through beautiful music that is easy on the ears, the authors wish to encourage us to consider topics and problems that we usually tend to ignore or overlook.
