Denis Škofič, a poet, writer and literary critic, is the author of the acclaimed poetry collections Sprehajalec ptic, Seganje and Tuskulum. For his last collection, in addition to being nominated for the Jenko Prize, he received the Cankar Prize for the best original literary work of the previous year and the Veronika Prize for the best poetry collection of 2024. His poems have been translated into several foreign languages.
