Birth of the Sung King

Duration: 1 h
Walk from Vetrinjski dvor to the LGM Auditorium

Celebrating the winter solstice in the glow of lights and revealing secrets. A feast for the eyes, ears, nose and hearts.

The winter solstice carries a good and great secret in its heart. Equipped with lights in our hands and in our eyes, we go on a fairy adventure through the city, which is sometimes really magical. Let's accompany the fairies to celebrate the birth of the Sun King to the old oak in the land of Minoritska, let's sing, let's scream, let's explore the hidden corners. Let's experience the joy of life together, smell and shine in the new - and help the Sun to start lengthening the day.

The winter solstice is the day of the year when the night is the longest and the day is the shortest. The sun appears low in the sky and gives us the least amount of light - and then the days start to get longer. For our ancestors, this landmark day was considered the only true and natural New Year.

The fairy lamps with which we will greet the Sun King can also be made by ourselves at home; elves and elves, we have prepared short instructions for this purpose, so that the work will be easier for everyone, parents and children.

See you!
