Dora Tomori

In 2023, Dora Tomori released her full-length debut Where No Heartbreak Has Gone, marked by raw intimacy and reflections on youthful experience. The album is the result of a long-term collaboration with producer OROUS. Her early musical influences – such as Phoebe Bridgers, Anna B Savage, and Jeff Buckley – can already be heard in her singles New Religion (2022) and Mosquito Bite (2023).

Over the past four years, her sound has evolved from intimate “bedroom pop” into a broader indie rock aesthetic, honed on various stages in Slovenia and abroad. Most recently, she performed at the MENT Ljubljana 2024 festival, where she left a strong impression with her sincerity and presence.

She currently lives in the Netherlands, where she is studying music and developing new material. Her current work explores feelings of dissociation that often accompany the process of growing up and taking first steps into independent life – far from home and the familiar. She closed 2024 with the release of the single Far From Apathetic, an honest and poetic farewell to her adolescent years.
