EuroCubans consists of fourteen top Cuban and European professional musicians and was formed on the initiative of Slovenian percussionist Črt Pšeničnik and Grammy award winning and central figure of Cuban music – Juan de Marcos González.

The Cuban bandleader, arranger, musician and actor is best known for his work with Buena Vista Social Club and Afro Cuban All Stars, and is also known from the animated film “Vivo” (Sony Pictures, 2021) as the voice of Andrés, the owner of Vivo.

González's collaborations with various prominent musicians have made a visible contribution to the worldwide popularization of Cuban music.

In addition to Pšeničnik and González, the ensemble includes other famous names of jazz and Latin popular music: two-time Grammy Award winners, trumpeter Juan Munguia (Irakere), Dizzy Gillespie & United Nations Band, Paquito D'Riviera, Celia Cruz) and Carlos del Puerto (Irakere), percussionist Rolando Salgado Palacio “El Niño Mentira” (Afro Cuban All Stars, Candido Febre, Conjunto Chappottin), pianist David Alfaro (Afro Cuban All Star, La Banda JB de Juaquin Betancoirt), and vocalist Emilio Suarez Martinez (Willie Colón, Israel López Cachao, Afro Cuban All Stars).

14 top-class musicians, including three Grammy Award winners, have come together in one ensemble to create a unique summer musical experience with their energetic performance of unspeakable Cuban rhythms and positive energy that will not leave you indifferent.
