Jean John Quartet feat. Kelly Green, Luca Soul & Tomaž Gajšt

Jean John Quartet feat. Kelly Green, Luca Soul & Tomaž Gajšt, led by Žan Tetičkovič (stage name Jean John)—a New York–based jazz drummer and composer—will embark on a short tour across Slovenia, Croatia, and Austria. For this occasion, the ensemble is joined by the exceptional pianist and vocalist Kelly Green, widely regarded as one of the brightest emerging voices in contemporary jazz. The lineup is completed by bassist Luca Soul, with acclaimed Slovenian trumpeter Tomaž Gajšt joining the group for this special concert.
The quartet is considered one of the most active ensembles on the New York jazz scene and performs several times a week at leading venues throughout the city. They have released multiple albums that have charted highly on radio playlists and receive regular airplay on jazz radio stations worldwide.
About the Ensemble
Kelly Green (piano, vocals), Jean John (drums), Luca Soul (bass), and Tomaž Gajšt (trumpet) perform original compositions alongside distinctive arrangements of jazz standards. Their musical language has evolved through numerous live performances and countless hours of shared creative work.
Kelly Green frequently tours the United States with her trio, in which Žan Tetičkovič is a regular collaborator. The trio has performed extensively in San Francisco, toured the U.S. East Coast and Europe, filled the Birdland Theatre, sold out the Mezzrow Jazz Club, and held a week-long residency at Dizzy’s Club. They have also performed and taught masterclasses at York College and Columbia University, and appeared at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as part of the DC Jazz Festival, celebrating the centenary of Nat King Cole.
The group released its debut album, Kelly Green Trio: Volume One (December 5, 2018), which was selected among the Top 10 albums by All About Jazz, Jazziz, and NYC Jazz Record. The album continues to receive international airplay, including on WUCF, XM Radio, WBGO, and many other stations worldwide.
Their most recent album, Seems, was recorded on March 9, 2023, at Bunker Studios and released on March 29, 2024, by Green Soul Studios and La Réserve Records.
In addition, Kelly Green released the album Corner of My Dreams last year, for which she received a Global Music Award.
