Our guest is Dr. Andrej Blatnik, Slovenian writer, university lecturer and editor.
His novel Flames and Tears (1987) is considered to be his most accomplished postmodernist work, and he has published a number of novels and collections of short fiction to date. As a scholar of book studies, he has also written a study of publishing, To Publish and to Exist (2018). In this talk, we will pay particular attention to the author's most recent works, the novels Holes (2020) and The Square of Liberation (2021), and the essay collection Books on the Road and Other Essays (2023).
