Martina Ipša – Stand up

After four Valentine’s stand-up nights in Maribor that sold out in record time, Martina Ipša returns – this time to the Auditorium of the Maribor Puppet Theatre with a 90-minute stand-up show that promises a night without brakes, without filters, and without sugarcoating.

Over the past year, Martina has been living and creating in Dublin, where she regularly performs at Ireland’s leading stand-up clubs and appears at renowned comedy festivals across the country. With her sharp, intelligent, and self-ironic humor, she has been steadily winning over international audiences.

As the winner of DICFF, she traveled this March to New Jersey for the festival’s final event. At the same time, she has been successfully pursuing her studies in Drama and Theatre Studies at Trinity College Dublin, one of Europe’s most prestigious universities.

The past year has also marked a major personal transformation — Martina lost 45 kilograms and said goodbye to her signature red mohawk, both of which have become rich material for fresh, honest, and brilliantly self-aware new jokes on stage.

Since she now spends most of her time performing abroad, Martina Ipša’s appearances in Slovenia are rare. This makes the evening a special opportunity to experience her live — sharp, fearless, and unapologetically real.
