Open Horizons: CIRILA TOPLAK - OUR FAITH: NATURAL SCIENCE IN THE PRIMORSKIE REGION

Dr Cirila Toplak, professor of political science and expert in the political and ethnological history of Slovenia, will present "Our Faith": Natural Religion in Primorska.

The discussion will be moderated by Ignac Navernik.

This comprehensive study of the traditional beliefs and life of the Primorska old believers draws on the complex and in many ways ground-breaking work of Pavel Medveščko, From the Invisible Side of the Sky, and complements it with her own findings based on field research and academic insights. The book, published by AMEU-ISH, brings critical insights into an important topic that has until recently been completely overlooked by the Slovenian scientific community.
