Opening of the Puppet Museum

We finally found a place for our historical and pedagogical collection with selected dolls, costumes and scenic elements. Various authors, puppet technologies and aesthetics are on display in the renovated premises in the north of Vojašniški trg.

The collection offers a glimpse into the rich history of the Maribor Puppet Theatre. Addresses individual visitors, organized groups from educational institutions and foreign visitors.

We have selected the most interesting authors and performances from the history of the Maribor Puppet Theatre. In half a century of professional activity, dozens of excellent performances have been created. The exhibition is designed with visitors of all ages in mind. Make short time educational and playful for everyone.

In addition to the museum, there is a Creator's Room, a space for learning while playing, a corner for working with stories, you are also invited there.
