Philosophy between books. Dr. Marko Uršič
Duration: 1 h

Dr. Marko Uršič is a retired Professor of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana.
He is the author of numerous articles and literary works. His closest philosophical outlook is (Neo)Platonism, which he associates with modern cosmological pantheism and ancient Buddhist spirituality. His latest book, The Transcendent Presences, is a philosophical treatise on the light of the spirit in the greatest thinker of late antiquity, Plotinus, but at the same time it is a distinctly authorial work, in which academic-theoretical discourse is intertwined with the author's personal, mental and spiritual contemplation of the world of the mind, in (Neo)Platonism and beyond.
The author will be interviewed by mag. Igor Černe.
