The short animated film The Legend of the Goldhorn by the young Slovenian animator Lea Vučko, which won the best-animated film award at the Slovenian Film Festival, takes us through the intertwining of love, beauty, and the play of dark forces through a reinterpretation of a folk tale.

The short feature film Marko, directed by Marko Santić, won the prize for the best film of the festival at the Shots short film festival in Slovenia. Marko and Ankica never got over the death of their only son, Antej, who died in the war. Marko is deeply offended by his neighbor Stipo's suggestion that he rent Anto's room to tourists, but Ankica convinces him to agree. Renting out rooms is an easy source of income, especially for older people, but the fact that an unknown man now sleeps in his son's bed eats away at Marko.

Sara Bezovšek - a visual artist working in the fields of new media, experimental film, and graphic design, won the Grand Prix award at FeKK last year with the experimental film www.s-n-d.si, and the best experimental film award at the Slovenian Film Festival.
The author was attracted by various apocalyptic scenarios that could lead to the end of the world as we know it. She collaged visual material found online in the form of short videos, memes, photos, gifs, emoticons, and various external links with her own works, thus creating a complex and visually rich narrative.

The grand prize of the StopTrik International Film Festival is always awarded by the audience. Thus, in 2022, the French student film Človeški viri won, which also received a special mention from the student jury and Krsto Gospodinovski (Flipbook Film Festival, Skopje).
The stop-motion film with felt puppets shows Andy heading to his recycling appointment accompanied by a friend who is filming everything. He is received by Wanda, the company secretary. The animation humorously depicts the absurdity of human existence and an environment where things are more important than human labor.
Sander Joon / short animated film / Estonia / 2022 / 15'
The short animated film Siero by Estonian animator Sander Joon has been nominated for an Oscar, and in the past year (the film won more than 45 awards at festivals around the world) it was also awarded at two festivals in Slovenia. It won the Grand Prize of the International Jury and the Audience Award at the Animateka Festival and won the Best Short Film Award at LIFFE.
The animation Sierra follows a father and son who enter a rally competition, but it doesn't go well for them. In order to win, the boy turns into a tire. The film, partly inspired by the director's childhood memories, draws the viewer into the surreal world of car racing.
