The Little Beasts of Resia

This commemorative event celebrating the work and legacy of Slovenian puppeteer Tine Varl begins with a screening of two episodes from the puppet television series: The Ugly One in the Fox’s Little House and The Wolf, the Rooster, and the Godmother Vixen. Beloved by generations of children – now grown up – The Little Beasts of Resia have been a cherished part of RTV Slovenia’s programming since the 1970s. After the screening, Breda Varl will share memories of the making of the production and
the filming of the puppet series in Kamnica near Maribor.

The screening will be followed by a short conversation with Breda Varl.
