The spatial arrangement "Spell against snake sting" is a rhythmic video projection of frequencies and amplitudes through which nature tells us about the life force that is in all of us and that drives life without beginning and without end. This force was represented by many indigenous peoples with a snake, an elusive, long (wild) creature of change, levitation, which passes from darkness to light and back. An immersive video installation of repetitive rhythms works like a spell, mimicking the shimmering of a snake's scales in motion. Sound is a ritual language, somewhere between singing and speaking - monotonous ritual repetitive chanting. Since the snake in the old stories controls the primary elements, and most of all the waters, storms and storms, the spell against its sting is a symbolic request that respectfully bows to the power of the world and understands that in the current network significantly more is being consumed than is possible in a balanced relationship. The screening is accompanied by a documentary discussion on the mentioned topic, which also touches on death, poisons, cyclicality and the testimonies of the storytellers of Posočje, collected in the materials by Pavle Medvešček.
