Etno Histeria
Etno Histeria World Orchestra is an international project that has been bringing together top musicians from around the globe for 20 years. After an intense week of mutual learning and creation in the Slovenian Istria, this unique ensemble embarks on a tour, delivering a flavorful stew of songs from all over the world across five concerts—each piece enriched by the distinctive artistic touch of every participant. The hundred-member orchestra, guided by a team of experienced mentors, performs without sheet music, relying on improvisation to constantly generate fresh dynamics. In a two-hour program, the musicians interpret works that take the audience on a journey from Latin America, through Istria, to Scandinavia, and onward to the Middle East. Etno Histeria World Orchestra is also unique in that the group disbands after the tour, making each edition a one-of-a-kind musical experience.
