Lent Festival: Jazz Podij: Katarina Juvančič & Dejan Lapanja

Katarina Juvančič and Dejan Lapanja entered the national radio competition for new compositions in 2009 and with the composition Hey Hey (Magdalenca) marked their entry into the music scene. Their music, which can be classified as alt-folk, draws from the rich confessional world of human destinies and female sentiments, and builds a bridge between contemporary trends and folk ways of poetry and sensibility. The duo recorded three more acclaimed albums with numerous musical guests from Slovenia and abroad, Migrants (2012) Hope's Beautiful Daughters (2014) and In between (2017). They are the recipients of two awards (bronze and silver) at the international singer-songwriter festival Kantest. They have performed throughout Slovenia, in neighboring countries (Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Austria), as well as in Scotland, Ireland, Portugal, England, Germany, India, Kyrgyzstan and Sri Lanka.

Tickets: €12 per seat (until 24 June) / €17 per seat (until 25 June);
for students and pupils: €5 discount on each ticket.

Visa OTP personal cardholders can purchase tickets for the Lent Festival 2026 at a 10% discount. The discount is valid for purchases made up to and including April 30th.
