Lent Festival: We will, we will rakija

Britain is looking for a Balkan man

If you ask him, London, with all its gin, whiskey and beer, is no match for rakija. Fahr, a refugee with twenty years of experience living on the Island, is warmed by a passionate love for the traditional Balkan brandy. It is rakija that makes his life in the "rotten West" bearable. That is why he is determined: he must find his daughter, a Londoner by birth, a groom who will appreciate her at least as much as he does. Because - what good is a son-in-law if you can't down a glass of rakija with him and have a manly get-together? So the plan is a British wedding with a Balkan groom. A combination that promises... top-notch comedy!

The performance is in Đuro's native language (Slovene, Croatian and Bosnian) and has no subtitles.

The show lasts one hour and forty-five minutes and has an intermission.

Tickets: €24 per seat (until 24 June) / €26 per seat (from 25 June);
for students and pupils: €5 discount on each ticket.

Visa OTP personal cardholders can purchase tickets for the Lent Festival 2026 at a 10% discount. The discount is valid for purchases made up to and including April 30th.
