Vlado Novak

After the well-received conversations with Ervin Hladnik Milharčič, Ksenija Benedetti, and Pižama, Mariborka Bookstore and the Maribor Puppet Theatre are opening a new chapter of joint public discussions this year. Hosted at the Judgement Tower (Sodni stolp), the series will feature four major conversations dedicated to reflection, dialogue, and encounters with outstanding figures from our cultural and social landscape.

To open the series, we have invited a guest who needs no special introduction—a name that stands for presence, voice, perspective, and experience. Vlado Novak will be joining us.

The conversation will be moderated by Anja Zag Golob, who will guide the evening with precision, sensitivity, and openness to everything that unfolds between a question and an answer.

The event is organized by Mariborka Bookstore, with the support of the EU Creative Europe programme.
