Young soloists from Maribor for the city of Maribor

The project "Mladi Mariborski solisti za mesto Maribor" is an artistic tribute to the city of Maribor, its inhabitants, visitors and creators, which the band Mladi Mariborski solisti presents in the form of a series of concerts at various locations in the city municipality. As ambassadors of culture and coexistence, the members of the band want to bring it closer to a wider audience of all age groups and social backgrounds with a selection of interesting and dynamic programs where every listener can find something for themselves on the colorful palette of artistic expression.

At this time's concert in the beautiful ambience of the Minorite Church, the ensemble will be joined as a special guest by a musician of exceptional breadth, internationally renowned artist Alexander Somov, the first cellist soloist of the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra.

In a cosmopolitan atmosphere, compositions by male and female composers from four continents will be heard in an interplay of youthful fervor and masterful sophistication.
